We are all psychic.  We all have gifts.  I have the gift of Clairaudiance, I can "hear" the other side.  And I have the gift of Clairvoyance, I can see, visualize messages as they are being passed through to me, and see colors and shapes and occasionaly orbs.  My strongest gift is that of 
Claircognizance, the gift of "knowing".  My mother read Tarot cards, did astrology forecasts and also could see see, hear and know--which she came by through her mother.
My grandmother's gift was so natural, she would start yelling at her daughters across country when she "knew" they were fighting.  She would read tea leaves in her kitchen, and clients entered and left through the back door so that no one would gossip.  Thank mother father God that times are different now.
